Easter Paw-cnic 2026 Recap: A Tail-Wagging Success in New Berlin, WI 🐾🌸

On March 21st, 2026, something magical happened in New Berlin, Wisconsin, and no, it wasn’t just the Easter Bunny making an appearance (although we did have a bunny… and he had three legs, so honestly, he stole the show).

The Easter Paw-cnic Set, hosted in collaboration with Elmbrook Humane Society, Spa, Paw and Tail Pet Resort, and Fall Marie Photography, brought together pet lovers, adorable animals, and a whole lot of heart—all for an incredible cause.

14 Adorable Guests (Yes, Including a Guinea Pig 🐹)

We welcomed 14 furry friends to the set, and let me tell you… it was chaos in the best way possible.

  • 12 dogs (ranging from “I will sit politely” to “absolutely not, I am speed”)

  • 1 guinea pig (tiny, majestic, probably judging us all)

  • 1 tripod bunny (iconic, resilient, and honestly the main character)

Every single pet brought their own personality, whether that meant striking a perfect pose or attempting a full set escape mid-session (you know who you are).

Raising Over $400 for a Local Cause ❤️

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we raised over $400 for Elmbrook Humane Society!

That means real impact:

  • Supporting local animals in need

  • Helping provide food, medical care, and shelter

  • Giving more pets a chance at their forever homes

Not bad for a few photos, some treats, and a whole lot of tail wags.

Why Pet Photography Events Like This Matter

Events like the Easter Paw-cnic aren’t just about cute photos (although let’s be honest—that’s a major perk). They’re about community, connection, and giving back.

As a Wisconsin pet photographer, creating these experiences allows me to:

  • Capture authentic moments between pets and their humans

  • Support local organizations like Elmbrook Humane Society

  • Bring people together through something we all love: animals

Also, selfishly? I get to hang out with dogs all day. Highly recommend.

A Huge Thank You 💛

To everyone who came out, supported, donated, or trusted me with your pet’s photos—thank you. Truly.

And to Spa, Paw and Tail Pet Resort for hosting and helping bring this vision to life—you made the entire day smooth, welcoming, and full of good energy (and probably a little fur).

Looking Ahead: More Pet Photography Events in Wisconsin

If you missed this one, don’t worry—this won’t be the last!

Fall Marie Photography will continue hosting seasonal pet photography events throughout Wisconsin, partnering with local rescues and businesses to create meaningful, fun, and impactful experiences.

Because honestly… life is just better when there are more dogs involved.
